Participants in Last Year's High School WorldQuest

High Schools! Compete in WorldQuest!

Engage your high school students and/or your school in the annual “World Quest” competition which exposes 35- 40 teams of four students plus a team faculty advisor to compete against each others’ command of current world events, geography, history, politics, flags, and world leaders. This exiting, fun competition will have students remember important world facts for years to come.

What is WorldQuest?

World Quest is a copyrighted offering of the World Affairs Councils of America. In more than 30 cities annually, teams from local High Schools compete to test their knowledge of current affairs and other subjects of global importance. Team members may be freshman, sophomores, juniors, or seniors. Schools are encouraged to select an alternate in case one of the four team members is unable to attend the event. There is no cost to participate. There are 7 rounds of questions flashed on a power point screen with 30 seconds to answer each. The winning team will represent St. Louis at the national World Quest in Washington, D.C. each Spring, with all expenses paid. It gives the winning team a chance to visit monuments, museums, the capitol and the White House. Help your team to world quest fame with skills they will never forget and which enhance their career interests and successes. Second and third place winners earn $500 or $250, respectively, for a favorite school project.
